If I didn't play drums or the tuba, what else could I play in a marching band?

There are many other instruments you can play in a marching band besides the drums or the tuba. Although most marching bands do not have the support of guitars, there are other bass instruments one can play such as the bassoon, the bass clarinet, the bass trombone and the bass saxophone. Each marching band is unique however, so to be fully understood as to what type of instrument you are allowed to try to participate in the marching band, you should first ask the instructor.

The most common bass instrument that is well-known for being included in the marching band practice is the trumpet. Being fairly easy to learn and play, it is the most common favorite. However, some instructors may be open to the idea of including a guitar in their marching band, which is why you should specifically ask him.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
