KNITTERS: I'm looking for a quick and easy baby gift to knit. Anyone have a good pattern? I normally make a baby blanket for friends who are expecting, but I have two co-workers due in the next 6 weeks, and I'll never get a full blanket done in time for both of their babies.Do any of you have a cute, simple, pattern -- it doesn't have to be a blanket -- that I could knit for a new baby?

I'm looking for a pattern that could be completed QUICKLY but would still have that "homemade just for you" attitude. Asked by Zora 57 months ago Similar questions: KNITTERS quick easy baby gift knit pattern Arts > Sewing, Craft & Hobby.

You could knit a quick hat and bootee set. There are free knitting patterns for babies online. One is: knittingonthenet.com/babybooties.htm and for a hat: knittingonthenet.com/babyhats.htm General patterns for babies can be found at: knittingonthenet.com/babies.htm There is also a "5-hour baby sweater" at: knittingonthenet.com/patterns/babyswe5ho... I knit baby garments for charity, and have my own patterns, but I use free online patterns sometimes.

Usually they are quick to knit up, and the patterns seem to have no typos. Here is one of my baby hat patterns: Acrylic fingering yarn and size 3 needles, will fit an infant, up to size 1 Cast on 90 stitches. K1, P1 for 20 rows.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
