I think it's a feature for more thought. What interests one person is not going to interest the next. Some people may be interested in gaming questions and not think questions about parenting or fashion are at all interesting.
You already have a way to find questions that interest you, in the categories listed at right. Since you initially announced this list on a bunch of tech websites, it stands to reason Mahalo is at least somewhat weighted to people interested in tech types of questions, so if you DO let the "interesting" questions be the ones displayed on the top page, that could give newer users the impression that Mahalo is just for those kinds of questions--even though there are categories on the side, they may judge by what's on top only. I can see removing questions that are not interesting from the system, after a period of hours--at least 12.
Things are usually pushed off the top page by then, so no point in allowing those questions to be voted off as it would probably take that long anyway. And asking the most interesting questions? Again, it's a matter of opinion on what's interesting.
But someone who can ask intelligent questions in a number of categories could see success there. Whereas someone with in-depth knowledge in just one or two areas wouldn't--it takes some knowledge to ask a good question.
I noticed this but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I use Chrome.
Interestinger and interestinger! Is there a daily limit for answering "Interesting Questions? " as there is for answering "Helpful Answer?"
If so, are they independent limits, or is it a single, combined limit for both "Interesting Questions? " and "Helpful Answers? " Thanks in advance!
It would be good to keep all questions in the system, because like trace says,, "most interesting" is subjective. The idea of using it as a method of keeping the most interesting up front is an awesome idea.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
