Anchorage, Alaska through Canada to Illinois, on to Georgia, then to Texas and stopping in California. Had to be close to 6500 miles total. It was a lot of fun!
Hmmm...if it's my longest trip it would be to perth and southwest Australia. It wasn't entirely a road trip though....hubpages.com/hub/My-ytip-to-Perth-and-South.
We are on our longest trip now , head up north tomorrow to Newman - Tom Price in Western Australia & heading to Qld , we came from NSW! Have been across Australia , Also driven from Wales, through England, Belgium,Austria , Italy & back thru France! That was an amazing trip!
From Miami, Florida to New York City. It was a long, beautiful and eventful ride!
It was to the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, about 6600 miles round trip from our home. Awesome trip - loved the scenery and wildlife.
Around Australia... about 34,000kms covered in total over 7 months. Also from Vancouver Canada to Acapulco Mexico via California, Arizona and back via Louisiana and Chicago... don't know how far that is but it is a long way.
I am about to drive across Canada it will be a loonng trip!
It was here in Ireland and a few of us went on a 3 days trip. We went to Galway, Cork and then Clare. Not sure how much distance we covered but it would be 4-5 hours trip from Galway to Cork and then another 1-2 hours againg to get to Clare from Cork.
But we stopped and had homemade picnics along the way, it was fun time.
It was a cross-country trip from Tacoma, Washington to central New Jersey. At the time, we lived in WA and drove three days to visit family during the summer. A few days later we turned around and headed back home.
Now I live New Jersey, so no more cross-country trips...at least to visit family.
Austin, tx to LA and back in 45 hours... Last 5 hours spent jogging...in flip flops and short sleeves and it was 30 degrees! I ran out of gas on I-10.
Well, it was 5 years ago, I was just 21 and me and my girlfriend planned to go on a one-month trip in Spain and Portugal, just with a rucksack and a map. We had the opportunity to discover many places we didn't know, like Granada in Andalucia or Sintra in Portugal which have instantly become our favorites. It was tiring at times to search for hostels and bed and breakfasts without booking, but we definitely made the time in an astonishing corner of Europe.
When I was younger my family and I lived in Erie Pennsylvania. Most of the time when we would go on family vacations it would be to places where we could drive to see our extended family members - Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, etc. I don't remember the longest trip, but I know there a few 12/13 hour drives in there. Although, now that I think about it they all seemed really, really long since my younger brother would stop at nothing to pester my little sister and I!
Well unfortunately, the longest trip I took was from Los Angeles, California to Sacremento, California. Because we went by car.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
