You can get free song lyrics by going online to websites such as metro lyrics and song lyrics. Once you get to the sight do a search for the song or artist and the lyrics will come up.
You can search by title and artist if you know either. There is also a search function by "phrase" and scattered words. I'd say they have about 85% of the songs that I've ever went there to look up, so I'd highly recommend it.
Of course, depending on the songs you're wanting, if they're gospel, very old and obscure, or from independents, they might not be on there.
