Just about every video card out there comes with a DVI to VGA adapter. If you do have to buy one, it's less than $10 at any computer shop. If they want more, tell them to try ripping someone else off.

There's no issues with using one, although if your monitor is VGA only then it's probably time for a new monitor.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
