Is wondering if Pepsi Max is really just Pepsi One being hip. And which is better Pepsi One Max or Coke Zero?

Pepsi Max has ginseng in it, and twice the caffeine of other Pepsi products. Both products have acefulsame potassium along with aspartame, which makes them taste a bit different than other Pepsi products and Coke Zero. I'm hoping we'll get the stevia-sweetened Diet Coke that is sold in other parts of the world.

I'm like many other people in getting bad headaches from Nutrasweet and Splenda.

I'm a big fan of Coke Zero. Pepsi One/Max tastes too strangely sweet for my tastes.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
