Are there any knitters out there?

Are there any knitters out there. I'm looking for some interesting projects. I'm tired of afghans and baby blankets and scarves.

I'm currently working on a bulky knit sweater for myself. Perhaps I'm just bored at the moment. How hard is it to knot handbags?

Just asking because to KNOT handbags is a term used for macramed handbags. How hard is it.It is so easy. What kind of styles do you like?

Take a look at berroco.Com for some great patterns, many free. Knittingonthenet. Com is another place that has wonderfully funky patterns.Knitty.Com is another one.

Bags are in. You will find patterns EVERYWHERE. Just type into google: free knitted handbags and have a great time.

There are also several books for sale that are keepers also and don't forget to check your library. Some are more difficult than others.It depends on whether you want to line and how you want it lined, whether you want pockets inside, etc. I think there's nothing better than a wonderfully created knitted bag in wool that has been felted! I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
