1 My weight seems to be back down at a solid 117 and this is good because in maintenance you want to make sure you're eating enough, not to continue to lose and that you're not eating too much because you don't want to gain. I had 1 scrambled egg with a pinch of shredded cheese and 1 EM with lite butter 30 and 1/2 banana with honey and 1/2 cup of 1% milk for breakfast.

2 I got brave and got on the scale this morning. I'll do an official damage report tomorrow after I've have a day to eat right. I'm wearing my new tiny shorts and that's cool!

We have to walk the dog 4-5 times a day for 1/2 mile each time so I'll get my 2 miles in without even setting aside a special time. It will be low in my fat-burning range but nowhere near my cardio range. We're under a severe heat warning again.It's so rare for it to actually hit 90 on the island so going out at all is not particularly pleasant.

Maybe if there aren't too many little kids in the pool I'll swim some laps.

3 good morning everyone! Yes sharon I did walk on river street and I had those prlalines. I had a sample that was fresh and hot and oh my gosh it WAS better than chocolate which I didn't even think was possible!

The ghost tour wasn't scary but it was a lot of fun, our guide was really funny. That company does tours at 7:30, 9:30 and midnight and the one at midnight is supposed to be honestly scary. But that was too late for us.

But our guide told us about some of the places they go to on the midnight one and he is supposed to be a paranormal investigator and expert and stuff. I'm not sure what I believe about all that but he seems genuine. He told us about this one house in Savannah that he said he honestly believed is like demon possessed but he wouldn't tell us the whole story becaues there were children in the group.

Anyway, for breakfast I had 1/2 cup or so of raison bran and skim milk and about 1/2 cup fresh fruit (some cantalope, honeydew, orange slices, grapes). We are going to the Lady and Sons for lunch (we have reservations). Lordy I know it's going to be hard because well, it's Paula Deans cooking and she's southern and uses tons of butter, etc.And it's a buffet.

So i'm going to enjoy myself but i'm only going to taste things and make sure I don't get stuffed.

4 For lunch I had a cup of a new recipe of couscous with walnuts, dried fruits, and edamame seasoned with onion, cilantro, parsley, paprika, cinnamon, and a few other things for 310. I think when I make it again I'll add some cumin or curry and more edamame. I also had somewhere between 3/4 and 1 cup of watermelon cubes for 50.So I'm at 660 for the day so far.

I have no idea what's for supper yet. I'm cleaning out the pantry and fridge of all "foreign" food and throwing out a shameful amount. If it were unopened I'd donate it, but it's not, and it's nothing I want to eat.

This happens every year. Heavy sigh.....

I had a 1/2 of angel food cake with 1/2 of a peach and 1/2 cup of SF vanilla pudding with a tiny bit of cool whip. I had a half cup of brown rice, 1/2 cup of red beans and 2 oz. Of round steak with 1 cup of broccoli for supper.

I did 30 minutes of Pilates and I'm going for a walk right now. I am going to have some cottage cheese and blueberries and call it a night.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
